Emily Kochard

Role at RSR Partners
Emily is a Director in the firm’s Asset Management Practice and plays a leadership role working with endowments, foundations, and mutual fund boards. She is involved in all aspects of search strategy, execution, business development, and candidate identification and outreach.
Experience and Expertise
Emily has focused on C-suite and senior-level searches across a broad range of investment management firms, including endowments, foundations, OCIOs, family offices, traditional asset managers, and alternatives firms. In addition, she has helped lead and execute RSR’s mutual fund board recruiting efforts over the last eight years. Prior to joining RSR, Emily interned in Fixed Income Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley, and at hedge and private equity fund of funds firm, Alternative Investment Management (AIM13) in New York City.
Outside of RSR Partners
Emily graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University, with a BA in Classics. At W&L she competed on the varsity tennis team for four years. She grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and now resides in Jacksonville, Florida. Emily enjoys playing tennis, painting, and traveling to new countries.
