Executive search is Jane’s second career. After earning an MBA from Wharton, she spent 15 years at Chemical Banking Corporation, where she had varied responsibilities, including agribusiness lending, leverage finance syndication, private banking, and working directly for Walter Shipley, the Chairman of the bank, as his personal assistant. In the mid 1990s, she and her family moved to Portland, Oregon, where she became an entrepreneur. She joined a small cap securities research publication editing equity research reports, and later, founded an investor relations practice. Upon returning to New York, Jane embarked on her career in executive search. She has been in the executive search industry for over 20 years, initially with Korn Ferry International, followed by 12 years with Higdon Partners. She earned a BA degree with honors from Lancaster University in England.
