Role at RSR Partners

Gretchen is a Senior Advisor with the firm’s Human Capital Practice and Board and CEO Services team. Gretchen has more than 20 years of experience as a senior Human Resources executive in private equity and public company environments. She has recruited numerous professionals into top Human Resources roles and integrated C-Suite and senior executives into various leadership roles across a variety of organizations. Gretchen also advises on the changing and dynamic function of the Chief Human Resources Officer and provides human capital strategy and advisory services to CEOs, CHROs, and boards of directors.

Experience and Expertise

Prior to joining RSR Partners, Gretchen was the Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Committee at Henkel North America. Prior to Henkel, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Sun Products Corporation, which she co-founded in 2008. At Sun Products, she was responsible for the organizational infrastructure of the company and all people related initiatives such as talent strategy, transformation management, recruiting, community outreach, and corporate communications. Gretchen was also the Chief Human Resources Officer at Playtex Products and led the integration process following its acquisition by Energizer. Gretchen began her career with Altria and Nestle Waters, holding many diverse roles throughout her career focusing on talent acquisition, labor relations, organizational development, and compensation and benefits.

Outside RSR Partners

Gretchen has served on the Board of Directors of Hostess Brands since 2018. She is Chair of the Board’s Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Compensation and Talent Committee. She currently serves on the Governance Committee of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut and is a past Executive Committee member and Secretary of the Board. Gretchen is also a Professional Advisor to Nonantum Capital, formed in a 2018 spin out from Charlesbank, and previously served on the Board of privately held EBP Supply Solutions.

Gretchen earned her BS in Business Administration from Mercy College and her MBA in Human Resources Management from Long Island University. She lives in Easton, CT with her family.
