Jane is co-head of the Asset Management practice. Her clients are traditional and alternative institutional investment firms, endowments, foundations, wealth management firms, and family offices. For all of these clients, she recruits talent in all functional areas including Trustees and all other C -Suite positions.
Experience and Expertise
Executive search is Jane’s second career. After earning an MBA from Wharton, she spent 15 years at Chemical Banking Corporation, where she had varied responsibilities, including agribusiness lending, leverage finance syndication, private banking, and working directly for Walter Shipley, the Chairman of the bank, as his personal assistant. In the mid 1990s, she and her family moved to Portland, Oregon, where she became an entrepreneur. She joined a small cap securities research publication editing equity research reports, and later, founded an investor relations practice. Upon returning to New York, Jane embarked on her career in executive search. She has been in the executive search industry for over 20 years, initially with Korn Ferry International, followed by 12 years with Higdon Partners. She earned a BA degree with honors from Lancaster University in England.
Outside RSR Partners
Jane lives in Bronxville, New York with her husband. Her son is a real estate investor, and her daughter is an educator. She reads history and fiction with two book groups, plays bridge, tennis, golf, and belongs to the Bronxville Historical Conservancy. She is on the Board of Friends of Lancaster University in America. Travel is her passion, which was ignited when she finished her undergraduate degree in England and when her family lived in the Northwest for six years. She has traveled to 49 states and to six continents.
